Leo Picon


Leonardo Picon Froes is a Brazilian entrepreneur, model, presenter, singer and actor.

Biography

Born in Cotia, he holds a degree in business administration from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.

Career

In 2010, when he was 13, he was singled out by the magazine Capricho. In 2011, he decided to create a YouTube channel and started posting videos. In 2012 Leo and partners Caca Parra and Tata Estaniecki created a clothing store called Just Approve. The brand became a success among millions of young people, including celebrities such as Neymar, Anitta, Caio Castro, Lucas Lucco, Thiaguinho, Felipe Titto and MC Guimê, which made Leo notable on the internet. He has a hamburger restaurant: Light, Camera, Burger!, a bar: Galleria Bar and a production company: Roll Films, where he finances his and other YouTube channels. His Youtube has more than 3 million followers. Besides working as a model for his own company, he has worked for brands such as: Puma, Calvin Klein, Colcci, Tommy Hilfiger, Carolina Herrera and made parades in São Paulo Fashion Week.
He has been on the red carpet at the AFI Awards. In 2016, he debuted as an actor in the theater with the play 4Ever – A Última Noite in the role of Matheus, one of the protagonists. In the same year he was invited to participate in the second phase of the Workout Malhação: Seu Lugar No Mundo. Two years later Picon decided to study film at New York Film Academy. In the same year, he made his film debut with the feature film Garoto Do Cachecol Vermelho playing the protagonist Daniel. The film is an adaptation of the book by Ana Beatriz Brandão. In 2018, he signed a contract with WAY Model and joined their model team. In the same year he was elected by QG Brazil one of the most elegant men in Brazil. He won the awards of Men of the Year and Digital Personality and he was on the cover of the magazine. In February 2019, he launched himself as a musician releasing his first single "Atropela".
