Lensvik Church

Lensvik Church is a parish church in Orkland municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Lensvik, along the Trondheimsfjord, just north of Selbekken. It is one of the three churches for the Agdenes parish which is part of the Orkdal prosti in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1863 by the architect Christian Heinrich Grosch. The church seats about 230 people.
The church was built so that people living in the Lensvik district of the old municipality of Rissa could have a church closer to them that wouldn't require them to cross the Trondheimsfjorden to get to church. The church was consecrated on 26 October 1863 by the Bishop Andreas Grimelund.
