surveyed
by the
British Antarctic Survey
, 1975–76, and was named by the
UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee
in
1980
after
BAS
glaciologist
Peter Wilfred Lennon
, who
worked
on
Alexander
Island
, 1974–76.
