Lamont Lilly


Lamont Lilly is an African-American political activist. He was the Workers World Party vice-presidential nominee in the 2016 presidential election alongside presidential nominee Monica Moorehead. The ticket earned 4,173 votes and was on the ballot in three states.
Lilly was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and resides in Durham, North Carolina. Prior to running for office, Lilly was involved in the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri and other African-American freedom struggles.
