Lake Rotokawau (Karikari Peninsula)
Lake Rotokawau is a dune lake in the Northland Region of New Zealand. It is located to the Northeast of Rangiputa village on the Karikari Peninsula. This lake is sometimes referred to as 'Lake Rotokawau West' and it is the larger of two close lakes.
The lake has no inflows or outflows. The surrounding catchment is pasture and kanuka/manuka scrub, with pohutukawa forest to the north of the lake.
