Lafayette Mulligan

Lafayette Mulligan was the name under which several hoaxes were perpetrated in Boston in the 1920s.
In one such incident, a letter from "Mulligan"purportedly writing on behalf of mayor James Michael Curleyinvited Edward, Prince of Wales to come to Boston as Curley's guest.
