L'Affaire Dumont


L'Affaire Dumont is a Canadian drama film, released in 2012. Written by Danielle Dansereau and directed by Daniel "Podz" Grou, the film stars Marc-André Grondin as Michel Dumont, a divorced young father of two who is accused of a sexual assault he did not commit. The film's cast also includes Geneviève Brouillette, Patrick Hivon, Marilyn Castonguay and Cynthia Wu-Maheux.
The film garnered seven Canadian Screen Awards nominations at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Art Direction and Production Design, Best Editing, Best Sound Editing and Best Make-Up.
