Kyprian Kandratovich
Kyprian Antonovich Kandratovich was an Imperial Russian corps commander and the appointed commander of the armed forces of the short-lived Belarusian Democratic Republic.
He was born in what is now Belarus. He fought in the wars against the Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan. He fought against the German Empire on the Eastern Front.
After the October Revolution, he served in the government of the Belarusian Democratic Republic. He was a member of the Rada of the Belarusian Democratic Republic and a member of the delegation of Belarus at the Paris Peace Conference, 1919.
General Kandratovich spent his last years in the Second Polish Republic.Awards
