Kylemore Abbey, a major area attraction, is located on the shore of neighbouring Pollacapall Lough.Fish species in Kylemore Lough include salmon and brown trout. Kylemore Lough is part of The Twelve Bens/Garraun Complex Special Area of Conservation.
