Kuala Sungai Baru is a mukim in Alor Gajah District, Melaka, Malaysia. Kuala Sungai Baru is situated midway between Kuala Linggi and Pengkalan Balak. The nearest town is Masjid Tanah approximately 15 kilometers. The economic activities in Kuala Sungai Baru is mainly fishing, where many small boats parking at the town's river but with fishmongers from all across Melaka coming here to buy the sea products. The town is quite bustle during the day especially around peak hours making traffic jams is a must.
