Efymenko Kostyantyn Oleksiyovych ; born June 26, 1975, Bila Tserkva — is a Ukrainian businessperson and manufacturer, Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine. President of the Ice Hockey Club Bilyi Bars.

Biography

In 1992 Kostyantyn Efymenko left school No. 13 of Bila Tserkva with a silver medal for academic achievements.
In 1997 graduated at the Economics Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in 'Accounting and Audit'.
Married, have three children - two daughters and a son.

Biofarma

Kostyantyn Efymenko is the president of the Biofarma - Ukrainian pharmaceutical company that specializes in development and production of innovative high-tech medical products made of donated human blood, recombinant medications and drugs that are based on spore-forming bacteria.
The company pays great attention to the development of blood donation and components. So, in 2017, within the framework of government-private partnership, Biofarma pharmaceutical company supported the reconstruction and modernization of Sumy Blood Transfusion Center.
In the same year Biofarma has started the all-Ukrainian social program 'We care. We together', aimed at improving the quality of life of patients with hemophilia in Ukraine.
In 2018 the 190 donations per 1000 people had been fixed and this became the National Record of Ukraine.
In 2019 the first plasma fractionation plant in Ukraine was opened and launched. This technology enables to extract life-saving drugs, requires advanced research and development, GMP-certified equipment and facilities.

Tribo

Kostyantyn Efymenko is also a Chairman of Board of Directors of Tribo Ltd. – Ukrainian manufacturer, which specializes in production of brake pads, braking systems and friction materials.
The production line includes more than 800 products for such industrial groups as rail transport, trucks, agricultural and special equipment, industrial equipment.
One of the group's plants produces blocks for the largest cars in the world - BelAZ 75710. The capacity of the dump truck is 490 tons, which is 90 tons more than that of the nearest competitors.
The companies of Kostyantyn Efymenko regularly organises excursions to their enterprises.

Political activity

In 2008-2009 - Kostyantyn Efymenko served as a deputy of the Kyiv region council and a member of the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc faction. Also, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Bila Tserkva City Council.
From March 11 to December 9, 2010 he chaired the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine. After that, from December 23, 2010 up to April 15, 2014, served as First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
In 2015, Kostyantyn Efymenko ran for mayor of Bila Tserkva, but lost in the second round to Henadiy Dikiy, who got 39.3% of actual votes.
Since 2018, he has been speaker at major business conferences, core events, such as: Business Concentrate, Terrasoft, Business Anatomy, sessions of the Kiev International Economic Forum.

Social activities and charity

In 2011, Kostyantyn Efymenko Charitable Foundation established in Bila Tserkva. The Foundation implements and supports socio-cultural, educational, health caring, historical, tourist and other programs related to the city's life and development.
In 2011-2013, the Charitable Foundation supported the archeological excavation and museification of the foundation on 'Zamkova Hora' in Bila Tserkva and was the main initiator and supporter of rebuilding the orthodox temple of St. George the Victorious.
In 2012, the Foundation supported the opening of the Bilyi Bars Ice Arena in Bila Tserkva, which became the basic home arena and the main clubhouse for the Bilyi Bars Ice Hockey Club and a training site for several children's sports clubs.
In addition, the Foundation implements a number of urban social and charitable projects: "The Academy of Pensioners", "Help the Child Be Born", "Start of Hope", "Spartakiad", personal scholarships to the best students.
He was a member of the Industrial and Infrastructure Committee of the Ukrainian Entrepreneurs Union. The purpose of the committee is to coordinate efforts and develop common principles that will contribute to the development of the country's industry.
