Korea International Broadcasting Foundation

The Korea International Broadcasting Foundation is a South Korean non-profit group dedicated to bringing information about South Korea to the world, and to foreigners living in South Korea. It is a media broadcasting network provider supervised with the Korea International Broadcasting Network Commission and authorized with the Korea Communications Commission. According to itself the company's main focus is to produce 24/7 news services to improve the international image of South Korea.
The company is in fierce competition with KBS World, which is owned by the state-owned KBS, as they both target the international public. The channels have seemingly at least some overlapping, and the need of KIBF as a PR company has come into question..
