Klaes Karppinen
Klaes Karppinen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1930s. He won a gold medal at the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the 4 × 10 km relay. Karppinen was born in Iisalmi, Finland.
Karppinen's biggest successes were at the Nordic skiing World Championships where he earned 10 medals, including five golds and five silvers.All results are sourced from the International Ski Federation.
