Kiss (2019 film)


Kiss a 2019 Kannada-language romantic movie directed by A. P. Arjun. The film was produced by V. Ravi Kumar under his home banner Rashtrakuta Pictures. This was the debut movie for both the lead actors Viraat and Shree Leela. The director has said he is planning to do a sequel at some point in the future. Actress Mayuri Kyatari provided dubs for Shree Leela's voice.. Kiss is the second Kannada-language movie, after A 2nd Hand Lover, to be inspired by 2004 Korean film 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant, which also inspired the 2009 Tamil movie Modhi Vilayadu.

Plot

Nandini, a high school student, damages the car of Arjun, a rich, carefree guy. Not able to pay the amount to cover the damages, she is asked to sign an agreement to work for Arjun for 72 days or give him two kisses. Nandini prefers the working option, and accordingly, cleans his house, takes care of his dog, serves his friends at parties, and so on.
An incident makes Nandini realize that Arjun is not the arrogant guy she thinks he is, and she develops feelings for him. Whether he will reciprocate, and what Nandini's reaction will be, forms the second half of the film.

Soundtrack

The song "Neene Modalu Neene Kone", sung by Shreya Ghoshal in the film, has been very popular with audiences.
