Kinsale King

Kinsale King is an American Thoroughbred racehorse. Previously trained with Eoin Harty, Kinsale King was turned over to Carl O'Callaghan during the Del Mar Racetrack meet in summer 2009. His first stakes win was the December 6 Vernon O. Underwood Stakes at Hollywood Park Racetrack. He followed that up with a win on January 23, 2010 in the Grade II Palos Verdes Handicap at odds of 9:1. He beat the Breeder's Cup Sprint winner Dancing in Silks in that race. He came to fame when he earned his third straight stakes win in the March 27 Dubai Golden Shaheen. His win continued the United States' dominance in that race in which they have won nine of the past eleven renewals. His trainer has stated that his next race will be on June 19 at Ascot Racecourse in the Golden Jubilee Stakes over the turf.
