Katnalli


Katakanahalli or Katnalli is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. It is located in Bijapur taluk of Bijapur district, Karnataka. It is nearly 15 km from district headquarters, Bijapur. Its one of small village near to Bijapur town.

Demographics

Total land of village having more than 80% of well fertile and cropping area. The village mainly grows sugar cane, grape, maize, sorghum, and small area of lemon, onion, and turmeric. Irrigation is mainly based upon water canal, borewells and wells

Katakanahalli is connected to nearby city Bijapur and Ukkali.

Education

In village there is a Govt Higher Primary School has currently working with 1st to 7th standard having more than 150 students. The mutt is running a highschool viz, Mathoshree Shankremmatayi HighSchool. The whole village have more than 70% of literacy rate.
