Kathleen Hanratty


Kathleen Hanratty was a camogie player, the most important camogie player to have played for Louth and the inspiration behind two appearances in the All Ireland camogie finals of 1934 and 1936.

Other awards

Despite the fact she came frym a county not noted for either its hurling or camogie prowess, she was nicknamed the Lory Meagher of camogie and it was commented that she would grace any inter county hurling team of her era.
