Karate (EP)


Karate is the debut extended play by English singer-songwriter Anne-Marie. It was released on 10 July 2015 via Major Tom's and Asylum Records. The EP, as well as its singles, failed to make an impact on world record charts.

Composition

Karate is an R&B extended play that incorporates musical elements of electro-grime, electronic, and soul.

Singles

"Karate", the album's titular track, was released as the lead single on 13 May 2015.
"Gemini" was released as the EP's second single on 24 June 2015.

Critical reception

Pierre Bayet of High Clouds called the EP "bright."
