Kapila Waidyaratne
Kapila Waidyaratne PC was the Secretary to the Ministry of Defense, He was a former Senior Additional Solicitor General of Sri Lanka.
Waidyaratne was educated at S. Thomas' College, Mt Lavinia Sri Lanka.
Waidyaratne represented the school in 1st XV Rugby, Hockey and Cricket.
Waidyaratne later graduated from the University of Colombo and the Sri Lanka Law College. He was awarded a master's degree in International Relations University of Colombo and is a solicitor in the United Kingdom.
Waidyaratne was appointed a President's Counsel in 2014.
Waidyaratne has served in Fiji as a judge of the Court of Appeal and also served as a Trial Attorney at the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia from 1998 until 2003.
