Kōnodai Station


Kōnodai Station is a railway station operated by Keisei Electric Railway's Keisei Main Line located in Ichikawa, Chiba Prefecture Japan. It is 16.4 kilometers from the terminus of the Keisei Main Line at Keisei Ueno Station.

History

Kōnodai Station was opened on August 30, 1914 as Ichikawa-Kōnodai Station. However, the name was shortened to Ichikawa Station on December 11 of the same year. It resumed its former name on April 6, 1921, but with different kanji for its name. The station assumed its current name on April 1, 1948.
