Jungle Cry


Jungle Cry is a film based on the true story of a rugby team from Odisha, India made up of tribal kids, who wins a junior-level international tournament in the United Kingdom. The 'Jungle Crows' rugby team, made up of twelve children from tribal, underprivileged backgrounds and coached in rugby football by Indian coach Rudrakesh Jena of KISS and Paul Walsh MBE – former employee of the British High Commission in Kolkata – make history by winning the junior level nations rugby cup in England in 2007. The team is captained by Rajkishore Murmu. Shooting locations included Odisha India, Llanelli, Swansea and Cardiff in Wales and London.
