Dein was educated at JFS in Kenton, north west London, where he first performed magic both at school and at parties. Following school he attended King's College London, and on his study abroad year at UCLA he performed at events, and began making prank videos and social experiment videos.
In 2016, Dein started posting videos of street magic to the Internet, building an online audience of over 20 million followers across social media. Subsequent videos included pranks such as proposing to strangers. He has been a guest on Talkradio.
Dein was the first digital signing in the UK by American talent agency UTA in June 2017. Dein began filming videos for the FDA's The Real Cost in 2019. He performed magic tricks with vapes from people on the street, turning them into cigarettes, warning them that vaping could lead to smoking

Reception

Dein's videos have received a mix of positive and negative coverage. News sites have covered some of his videos. Huffington Post writer Ryan Barrell described one of Dein's pranks as being "so simple, but so funny", and noted that Dein was a "brave man" for pulling off the prank. Others were less impressed. The Irish Independent cited Dein as one of several misogynistic video pranksters on YouTube.
