Josias I, Count of Waldeck
Josias I, Count of Waldeck, was a Count of Waldeck-Eisenberg.Life
He was a son of Count Wolrad II of Waldeck-Eisenberg and his wife Anastasia Günthera of Schwarzburg-Blankenburg.
He died on 6 August 1588 and was buried on 9 August in Korbach.Marriage and issue
On 8 March 1582, he married Marie of Barby-Mühlingen, the daughter of Count Albert X of Barby-Mühlingen and his wife Marie of Anhalt-Zerbst. They had four children:
