Joseph Hamel
Joseph Hamel - naturalist from Russian Empire. He was born on January 30, 1788 in Old Sarepta and died on September 22, 1862 in London. He graduated from the Imperial Academy of Medical Surgery. He was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir, 3rd class, the Order of Saint Anna, 2nd class, the Order of Saint Stanislaus, 1st class, the Order of Saint Anna, 1st class, the Order of St. Vladimir, 4th class.
