Jordan Walker-Pearlman


Jordan Walker-Pearlman is an American film director, screenwriter and producer.

Biography

Walker-Pearlman was born in New York City, and is the nephew of actor Gene Wilder. He claims to be unaffiliated with a political party and once worked on US foreign policy issues for Congressional candidates. He spent much of 2007 raising funds for and speaking at events on behalf of Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama, whom he met through mutual friends. He is married to screenwriter Elizabeth Hunter.
He is perhaps best known for the film The Visit, for which he was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards. His movie Constellation was released in February 2007 and is now screened around the United States at conferences promoting racial healing in America. He has worked with actors Hill Harper, Billy Dee Williams, Phylicia Rashad, Lynn Redgrave, Rae Dawn Chong, Zoe Saldana, Gabrielle Union, Lesley Ann Warren, William Hurt, Harry Connick Jr., Obba Babatundé, Talia Shire, Glynn Turman, and David Clennon, among others.
