Joe Richardson (rugby league)


Joseph "Joe" Richardson was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1900s. He played at representative level for Cheshire, and at club level for Runcorn RFC, as a, or, i.e. number 6, or, 7, he was taken ill while travelling by train to play Hull F.C. at The Boulevard, Kingston upon Hull on Saturday 5 November 1904, and died 2-weeks later from pleurisy, and pneumonia.
