Jimramov


Jimramov is a market town in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It covers an area of and has a population of about 1,100.
Jimramov lies approximately east of Žďár nad Sázavou, north-east of Jihlava, and east of Prague.

History

Jimramov existed in second half of the 13th century, but the specific year of establishment is unknown. The town was ravaged and burned to ground by the Swedish armies during Thirty Years' War.
