Jim Nichols


Jim M. Nichols is an American football coach in the United States. Born in Camden, Arkansas and grew up in Searcy, Arkansas where he went to Searcy High School and graduated from Harding University. Nichols stops include Auburn University, Faulkner University, Troy University and Texas Tech University. Bowl games include the Music City Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Capital One Bowl, GMAC Bowl, Ticket City Bowl, Meineke Car Care Bowl, Cure Bowl. Nichols was a part of the 2004 Auburn Tigers that went Undefeated at 13–0 and won the SEC Championship. Beginning in January 2019, Nichols took the job as Assistant AD/Chief of Staff at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Nichols is now the Vice President of University and Athletic Development for Liberty University.

Coaching and Athletic Administrative career

He was the first ever head football coach for the Faulkner Eagles located in Montgomery, Alabama and he held that position from 2006 until 2008. In 2008, Nichols resigned after being with the Eagles for 3 years.
