Jim Donchess


Jim Donchess is the current mayor of Nashua, the second-largest city in New Hampshire, United States. Although the position is non-partisan, he is a registered Democrat.

Biography

There is currently no information on where Donchess was born and raised. Donchess graduated from Yale College with a major in art history, then studied law at NYU Law School. After practicing as an attorney for a number of years, Donchess first served as mayor of Nashua in the 1990s, and during his tenure of two terms the city was recognized by Money magazine as the "Best Place to Live in America". 24 years later, he ran for mayor again, against Chris Williams, and won, becoming both the 51st and 56th mayor of Nashua.

Policy

Donchess ran on a platform of improving infrastructure, working to end the opioid crisis, and clean energy.
