Jairo Torres


Ían Jairo Misael Torres Ramírez is a professional Mexican footballer who currently plays for Club Atlas.

Career

Youth

Torres joined Atlas youth academy in 2011. Which he then continued through Los Rojinegros Youth Academy successfully going through U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-20. He finally broke thorough to the first team, José Cruz being the coach promoting Torres to first team.

Club Atlas

On November 19, 2016 Torres made his professional debut in the Liga MX against Chiapas F.C. subbing in at the 45th minute ending in a 1-0 loss.

International career

On 7 May 2017, he won the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship with the Mexico national under-17 football team. He was named best player in the tournament.
He made his Mexico national football team debut on 2 October 2019 in a friendly against Trinidad & Tobago. He replaced Jesús Ricardo Angulo at half-time.
