Jack Newnes (Australian footballer)


Jack Newnes is a professional Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League.
As a youth, Newnes played for Ivanhoe Junior Football Club in the Yarra Junior Football League. Newnes was recruited with pick 37 in the 2011 National Draft, having played as a winger for the Northern Knights in the TAC Cup. He made his debut in Round 2 of the 2012 season against the Gold Coast Suns.
After eight years at St Kilda, Newnes was delisted at the conclusion of the 2019 AFL season to enable him to explore his options as a free agent. He was subsequently signed by.
