Jack Lewis (baseball)


John David Lewis was a second baseman in Major League Baseball, playing in the American League with the Boston Red Sox and for the Pittsburgh Rebels of the "outlaw" Federal League. Listed at, 158 lb., Lewis batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
In a three-season career, Lewis was a.247 hitter with one home run and 80 RBI in 217 games, including 63 runs, 20 doubles, 10 triples and 18 stolen bases.
