Jack Collins (footballer, born 1925)


Jack Cecil Collins was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Fitzroy Football Club and Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League.
Collins, who was recruited locally to Fitzroy, kicked seven goals in a game against St Kilda at Brunswick Street in his debut season.
He finished his career with a premiership at Essendon in 1950, where he played on the wing in the Grand Final win.
His sons Daryl and Denis both played in the VFL during the 1970s.
