Jack Chambers Public School


Jack Chambers Public School is a public elementary school in London, Ontario, Canada. It is operated by the Thames Valley District School Board. The school opened in 1992 in the neighbourhood of Northdale.
The school provides before and after school childcare programs through the London Children's Connection and community-based programs through the City of London in the evenings for children and adults.

Mission

History

The main school building opened in 1992, named after the London, Ontario artist Jack Chambers.
An eight classroom south-wing addition was opened in November 2006 in order to accommodate the growing population of the community.

Clubs at Jack Chambers' include Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Volleyball, Cross-Country, Track & Field, Badminton, Dance, Skipping, Chess, Gymnastics, Tech Crew/AV Club, Gr. 7/8 book club, Circulation Library, Parent/Child book club, Photography, Recycling Green Team, Spirit Yearbook, Band, Jazz Band, Chamber Ensemble and Choir.

Athletics

Sports at Jack Chambers' include Coed Soccer, Cross Country, Volleyball – Boys & Girls – Intermediate, Basketball – Boys & Girls – Intermediate, Basketball – Boys & Girls – Junior, Demonstration Skipping Team, Gymnastics, Slo-Pitch – Boys & Girls – Intermediate, and Track & Field. Also, the following intramural soccer teams are available; Grade 3-4 Soccer, Grade 5-6 Soccer, Grade 7-8 Soccer.
