Jabłonkowanie


Jabłonkowanie is a regional phonological feature of the Polish language. It consists in the merger of the series of retroflex sibilants and palatal sibilants into a phonetically-intermediate series .
It is named after the of Polish. It occurs in a number of other Polish subdialects.
The feature is in part the result of the process of dispalatalization similar to features of "mazurzenie" and "" in other Gorals subdialects.
