Jabłonka, Lesser Poland Voivodeship


Jabłonka is a village in Nowy Targ County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It is the seat of the gmina called Gmina Jabłonka. It lies approximately west of Nowy Targ and south of the regional capital Kraków. The village has a population of 4,400.
The village lies in the drainage basin of the Black Sea, in the historical region of Orava, which between the Middle Ages and the end of the First World War belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary.
