Jägala (river)


The Jägala is a river of Estonia, which flows through Harju and Järva County. The river is 98.8 km long, with a basin size of 1481.3 km². It runs into the Gulf of Finland.
Jägala river is especially notable because of Jägala waterfall, which is the highest waterfall in Estonia.
The river contains populations of trout and Thymallus thymallus.
