Ivan Ivanišević


Ivan Ivanišević is a Serbian chess player and chess grandmaster. He won the Serbian Chess Championship in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012. He participated in seven Chess Olympiads to date, representing FR Yugoslavia and Serbia, three times on the first board.
Ivanišević took part in the Chess World Cup 2011, where he was eliminated in the first round by Alexander Onischuk. In the same year he won the 3rd Balkan Individual Chess Championship in Podgorica. In 2014 Ivanišević won the Chigorin Memorial in Saint Petersburg.
