Italy will be competing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, from 24 August to 5 September 2021. This will be their sixteenth consecutive appearance at the Summer Paralympics since 1960.

Pamela Novaglio qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after her results in the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships.
Nadia Fario qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after her results in the P2 in the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup.
Andrea Liverani also qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after his results in the R4 in the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup.

Swimming

Thirteen Italian swimmers are qualified to compete in swimming at the 2020 Summer Paralympics via the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships slot allocation method.
