Intelligence Command (France)
The Intelligence Command is one of the many support divisions formed after the 2013–15 defence review.History
In 1993 the Intelligence Brigade was formed by grouping the military intelligence and specialist intelligence troops of the army previously assigned to the Rapid Action Force. The command today controls; Multi-sensor intelligence, human intelligence, electromagnetic imagery, and geographic troops.
The command is the successor to the former Intelligence Brigade which was based in Haguenau.
The command was formed on 1 July 2016 to command the intelligence and reconnaissance troops assigned to Land Forces Command and currently has approximately 5,900 military personnel.Organisation
