Infinite (film)


Infinite is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Antoine Fuqua, produced by Rafi Crohn, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Antoine Fuqua, Mark Huffam, Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Mark Vahradian and John Zaozirny, with a screenplay written by John Lee Hancock and Ian Shorr. The film's cast is scheduled to include Mark Wahlberg, Dylan O'Brien, Sophie Cookson, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Jason Mantzoukas, Rupert Friend, Toby Jones and Chiwetel Ejiofor, with Wahlberg producing the film.
Originally scheduled for August 7, 2020 by Paramount Pictures, the film's theatrical release has been delayed to May 28, 2021, due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Premise

A man suddenly realizes visions he has been having are actually memories from his past.

Cast

It was announced in February 2019 that Chris Evans had entered negotiations to star in the film, with Antoine Fuqua set to direct. In June, Evans dropped out of the project due to scheduling issues, with Mark Wahlberg entering negotiations to replace him. Wahlberg was confirmed in August, with Sophie Cookson and Dylan O'Brien added to the cast. In September, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Rupert Friend and Jason Mantzoukas were cast. Tom Hughes was cast in October.
Filming began in September 2019. Scenes were shot in central Cardiff, Farnborough Airport, and an indoor ski facility, The Snow Centre, during a week long shutdown to the public. Filming was also done in London, Mexico City, Guanajuato, Nepal, New York City, Scotland, Thailand and in The Alps.

Release

The film was originally scheduled for release on August 7, 2020, but was delayed to May 28, 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
