At the 2010 census Indio Hills had a population of 972. The population density was 45.2 people per square mile. The racial makeup of Indio Hills was 542 White, 6 African American, 15 Native American, 5 Asian, 1 Pacific Islander, 391 from other races, and 12 from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 657 people.
The whole population lived in households, no one lived in non-institutionalized group quarters and no one was institutionalized.
There were 304 households, 117 had children under the age of 18 living in them, 160 were opposite-sex married couples living together, 18 had a female householder with no husband present, 37 had a male householder with no wife present.
