Hyundai Steel Co., Ltd, or HSC is a steel making company headquartered in Incheon and Seoul, South Korea, and a member of the Hyundai Motor Group. Established in 1953, it is the oldest steel making company in Korea.

Hyundai Steel is the world's second largest EAF steel producer after Nucur,U.S.A. Hyundai Steel produces a wide variety of products ranging from H-beams, rail and reinforcing bars, to hot coil, cold rolled steel and stainless cold rolled sheet. Currently, Hyundai Steel operates six factories in the IncheonEAF,Largist long product in South Korea, Dangjin 3 blast furnaces,Hot coil,CR & plate mill, Pohang EAF, SuncheonCR mill, Ulsanpipemill, provinces of Korea and in China's Chungdo province.
In addition to Hyundai Steel, the Hyundai-Kia Motor group includes steel companies such as Hyundai Special Steel and BNG Steel Co., Ltd.. Hyundai Steel uses the EAF in Incheon & Pohang mill and green field three blast furnaces process Dangjin complex with in-house iron ore port to manufacture crude steel while BNG is stainless cold rolling mills.
Hyundai Steel, in 2004, had purchased the facilities of the defunct Hanbo Steel in Dangjin. They have taken the once rundown steel making furnaces and has refurnished its long product and cold-rolling facilities. Hyundai green field Dangjin blast furnace with 5,450mm2 3BFs extra-large one is the first in Korea. Currently HSC is operating three blast furnaces of 4 million annual capacity totaling 12 million crude steel green field facility at Dangjin blast furnace steel complexes. The total annual capacity of the company reaches 24 million tonnes per annum including two EAF plants of Incheon,largist single EAF mills in the world of 8million ton and Pohang ex-Gangwon industrial plant 4million ton. Incheon long product, 2 million H-beam mill the largest in the world,,deformed bar mills,stainless steel cold rolling mill & EAF plant, Pohang EAF and structurals, rail plant and 1.2 million Suncheon cold rolling mill and 1 million ton annual capacity 24 inch diameter steel line pipe plant at Ulsan - the largest single pipe plant in South Korea.
Hyundai Hysco as subsidiary, and the Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group will become the only car maker with an in-house steel mill to supply steel sheets for the production of automobiles.
