Hoff Productions, also known as Michael Hoff Productions, is an American television production company with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. Founded in 1993, President and Executive Producer Michael Hoff and his team have created factual television content for National Geographic Channel, Viceland, Reelz, Discovery Channel, Quibi, Netflix, History Channel, Animal Planet, TLC, PBS, and Travel Channel, among others. Hoff Productions produces content in a variety of genres including natural history, crime, and science and technology. Hoff is also the world’s most prolific and successful producer of documentaries of Alcatraz. To date the company has produced thirteen specials on The Rock.
Hoff is known for the series Donkmaster, Ted Bundy: Serial Monster, Megastructures, Ultimate Factories Detroit Steel, Animals Gone Wild, What Could Possibly Go Wrong?, and Animal Planet's Monster Week specials including Man-Eating Super Croc, Man-Eating Super Snake, and Man-Eating Zombie Cats. Hoff also produces branded content for companies worldwide including Breitling and KAZ Minerals.
