Hino 600


The Hino 600 are identical series of class 6 and 7 conventional cab trucks produced by Hino Motors primarily in the United States and Canada. Introduced in 2004 in different configurations: Class 4, Class 5, Class 6 and Class 7, although the Class 4 and 5 models were replaced in 2012 by the Hino 155 and 195. Its principal competitors have historically been Peterbilt 328 and the Isuzu H-Series.

First generation (2004–Present)

The First Generation 600 was introduced in 2004 in the U.S. market and for the Canadian market in 2005 to replace the fourth generation F-Series cabover. A new face-lifted 600 was introduced in 2007. Some CKD kits were imported from Japan. Class 4 and 5 models were replaced by the Hino 155 and 195 in 2012.

Hino Trucks announced on October 28, 2019 that the rebranded Class 6 and 7 Hino 600 as the 'L series' along with the Class 4 and 5 M series, as part of its 2021 model year lineup.
