HiPhi 1


The HiPhi 1 is a 6-seater all-electric battery-powered mid-size CUV from Chinese NEV brand, HiPhi.

Overview

The HiPhi 1 was publicly unveiled on July 31, 2019 as the HiPhi 1 pre-production Concept.
The HiPhi 1 uses split rear doors with suicide doors paired with overhead gull-wing doors on the top section of the doors, making it a 6-door crossover excluding the hatchback. The HiPhi 1 is powered by a Bosch electric motor with a single-speed reduction gear producing 268 hp powering the rear wheels, with dual-motor all-wheel-drive models also available. The battery of HiPhi 1 is a 96.0kWh battery pack capable of a range up to 400 miles, according to HiPhi.
The HiPhi 1 also features four wheel steering. The front and rear light system features interactive signal display LED matrix lights that display signals to interact with the traffic around the vehicle, and the headlamps features projector lights that could project signal in front of the vehicle for the occupants and pedestrians.
The Dongfeng Yueda Kia's plant in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province will accommodate the initial mass production of the HiPhi 1 electric crossover starting from 2021.
