"Here Comes My Baby" is a song written by Cat Stevens. It was first recorded and released as a single by The Tremeloes in January 1967, and became a hit in the UK, Canada, and U.S. at numbers 4, 7, and 13, respectively. Turin Brakes released their cover version as a B-side to their single, "Something In My Eye". Stevens' original lyrics began "In the midnight moonlight I'll / Be walking a long and lonely mile." Most cover versions sing "In the midnight moonlight hour." The song was also covered in the 1987 American animated television special.
