Henry Blanchard Freeman


Henry Blanchard Freeman was an American soldier who received the Medal of Honor for valor during the American Civil War.

Biography

Freeman served in the American Civil War in the 18th Infantry Regiment for the Union Army. He received the Medal of Honor on February 17, 1894 for his actions at the Battle of Stones River.
A transport ship, the, was named in his honor.
