Hemed is a religious moshav in central Israel. Located near Or Yehuda, it falls under the jurisdiction of Sdot Dan Regional Council. In it had a population of.

History

The village was founded in 1950 by demobilised soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces who were immigrants from Czechoslovakia, Poland and Romania. Its name is an acronym for Hayilim Meshuhrarim Datiyim. The residents initially worked in agriculture, but today much of the moshav's land is rented out for warehouses and industrial buildings.
