Hejnice (Liberec District)


Hejnice is a small town in the Liberec District in Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. From 1938 to 1945 it was one of the municipalities in Sudetenland. It is located in the valley of the river Smědá under the northern slopes of the Jizera Mountains, at an altitude of above sea level. It has about 2,700 inhabitants.
The village of Ferdinandov is an administrative part of Hejnice.
